Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
My characters from Autumn Bay will definitely be getting in on this. It's kinda really up the alley that they find themselves going down...

Looks like there will be no dead-end for those two, wonder what they'll end up at on the Fantasy Island?

Thank you, thank you...
I just want to be clear. If anyone has any questions, do NOT hesitate to ask! Also, I have a Wikia page for the comic, located here, so feel free to check that out.

Re: Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
Sorry for the double post, but I just wanted to reassure everyone that I AM going to do this. I just need to get the current plots lined up. I will be joining in to the caper approximately mid-October.
If anyone needs to know what I've got planned, just hit me up with a PM...

Re: Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
Okay, I just wanted to clarify something...
Everyone involved with this is okay with everyone else scripting their characters in their own comics, as long as they keep it in character as well as they can, correct?
I guess what I need here is, does anyone mind overly much if I write your characters in my own part of this? I'm planning on going link-happy for every bit I use in my comic, to make sure everyone gets proper credits!
If you need me to keep my grubby hands off your peeps, let me know, okay?

Re: Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
I suppose I can't speak for everybody, but yes. Script away!
The whole idea of the cameo caper, for me at least, is having some fun with other peoples characters. Trying to keep true to them but give them my own spin as well, and in turn seeing what others do with mine!
Seeing Fox's failed pickup lines in Abui's Travels ( http://abuistravels.thecomicseries.com/comics/28 ) or seeing a piexel-art version of Fox and Lowki (http://ddsr.smackjeeves.com/comics/1850 ... ers-final/) really make it for me!
in short, have fun, don't worry too much, and look forward to seeing what comes of it all!

Definitely. If you want to know how characters will react, definitely feel free to message people, too.
But, mostly, those of us worried about canon can try to sort it out later.

Yeah, that's fine.
Just remember Gertrude is the blonde, Brunhilda is the brunette. Probably the most common mistake people make is confusing which is which.
Any other questions just ask.

Know how you feel dealing with other peoples characters. Try to learn what I can from their comics. Though don't always have enough time, in which case would minimize the use of certain characters. I try to link some comic pages with examples of each of my characters on my thread here. I pretty much am allowing free range with Cedrick and June. Feel free to ask about anything.

Re: Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
Okay, so in the interest of actually getting in on this before Halloween, and so that others have something from me to work from, I'm going to start posting my Cameo Caper pages here. They are slightly ahead of where I'm at in my comic, but I know enough of what's coming to post these...
Now, a couple caveats. One: I hope I didn't butcher your characters too badly... Two: Some people have already posted stuff with my characters, and I tried not to contradict what's there, but in some cases we'll have to pretend that people weren't noticed or some such...
Anyway, without further ado...

Now, characters with cameos...
Ibdis, from Necroomies (with umbrella to block the sun)
Gin, from The Gingerbread Man Chronicles (you kinda gotta look for him)
Nintendo, from Consolers
Brunhilda... err, I mean Gertrude (j/k KAM!), from The KAMics
Cedrick, from D.D.S.R
Eiderdown, from Karabear Comics Unlimited*
Victory, from the comic of the same name*
Fox and Honey, from Hey Fox
*These two appear in a scene from Victory, where Chris V cameo'd my peeps...
Hope this helps some!
EDIT: Looking at it, this probably won't be the final version. I think I need to resize some things, but all the pieces you see here will be there...

Bwahahaha.... oh this is precious
I especially like how you managed to get the Indiana Jones Point of Travel going it AND still get the mysterious placement of Kokotomo to fit... kudos!

Re: Andrew and Marie-Ange take a trip from Autumn Bay
@ Hogan: Thanks! As soon as you pushed the mysterious placement, I knew what I had to do. Also, I knew I needed to use the Bermuda Triangle in this, because I'm convinced the walls of reality are thin there anyway.
@ CosmicBeholder: I know I still need to get your peeps in here (and I've got a definite idea I'm gonna run by you...). It is tricky to balance this whole thing...
@ KAMics: Thank you soooooo much! That actually means a lot to me!
Right now, I'm balancing my current storyline and this thing (which will immediately follow my current storyline in my canon). Hopefully, what I've got here gives a little clearer view on my characters for interaction purposes. Andrew is sarcastic and a bit of a scoundrel / rake (but ultimately a good guy), and Marie-Ange is friendly and caring, while holding her own against Andrew in the snark department. As far as any... intimate encounters: Andrew is kind of a slut, and Marie-Ange is more interested in just spending time and getting to know people. And they both like to drink.

The first page really looks great and I hope you won't overthink your contribution... I have no concerns about my characters appearing one or another way- just have fun
