Ok, been thinking of a plot that would go with my plans for the comic, and here it is. The legendary device that caused our heroes to shift realities and landed them in the odd little world of... huh, know I had a name for it somewhere... well anyways, as I was saying, the device due to somehow getting misplaced and some unexplained stuff will make it's way to the island and in the Burning Lord. That's right, Cedric finds the X-Play Cube! For those of you that may not be familiar with the device, It is pretty much a mangled half-assed merging of the Playstation 2, XBox, and Gamecube that was suppose to be the ultimate gaming system.

After the events in Origins, it would be forgotten and lost, taking with it an ominous energy that may threaten the entire multiverse, if not the entire hiddenverse. Because of this danger, two factions will send an agent to retrieve the device. On one end, The Mercenary has been dispatched by Finley to recover the device and return with it so it may be studied and possibly used as a weapon. On the other end, the mysterious Nexus Blader must retrieve the device in hopes to save the yet explained hiddenverse. The two will more likely have to crash this party, which if I read the description right, may lead them to fight whatever fantasy that they may face while trying to find the X-Play Cube.

Also, might add June since it would be odd if she wasn't with Cedric and she can easily fill in the uninformed person to help with exposition.

Hmmm, mixed of disgust and bemusement varying on each of your characters ego. Been awhile since I've seen it, but from what can tell and recall, it is an X-Box and Gamecube with the Playstation 2 on top, somehow connected with either tape, screws or glue with a red strip in the front, a race car like fin on top and a pinwheel. Not sure why, but would think Microsoft would dig the racing stripe and fin.

Have the basic idea what I'll have my characters do.

Cedrick and June will arrive via sea plane. Greeted by Mr. Montibar like any other guest, then they head to check out their cabin before hitting the beach. Not knowing that among the sand and guests is the X-Play Cube. Eventually would like it to go the Cedrick and people are free to use either of them, just know that neither are likely to start trouble or offend anyone.

The Mercenary will first appear near the peak of the volcano, traveling through other means. He'll be using tech to help shield him from the Islands fantasy effect, though not completely. He will keep to the shadows and won't interact with any of the guests or locals unless necessary. Interaction is unlikely. Have to contact me before planning any use.

The Nexus Blader, or Blader for short, much like the Mercenary would have found his own way to the island. However, due to the effects on the island, he will be out of sorts and located near the shipwreck cove with the various marooned people. Only being on the island for half a day, he has been trying to fight the various fantasies of the other inhabitants, which I plan for him to do some zombie fighting and then eventually figuring out how to deal with being bombarded with the fantasies of others. Ask first before use, though don't expect much from him until towards the end.

Hey, more of my characters. They must have just been passing each other, as I had the two flying in opposite directions, and each despises the other. But oh well. On that note, I did do my own sprites of the two (edits of other people's edits of Capcom characters):



Actually, I did these sprite edits for every character of mine in the Caper. It was just for fun, and I am surprised at how much fun it really was. I'm kind of addicted--I've been trying to do every character of mine. I'm not even halfway through all the characters I have!

I think I spy a character that I haven't gotten around to showing off in Karabear Comics Presents Special yet. I've tried to give them all dialogue so far, in order to kind of showcase them and make them not superfluous, but that particular character I haven't done so--I haven't even drawn her in the comic yet! She's on an upcoming page, though.

Oh, she is. I'm surprised it took me so long to slot her in. She's with the others, for sure. Luckily, her group will assuredly be able to show off their capabilities soon. But... will I have the skill to draw it?

Have a page in the works before hand (no pun intended, though amused nonetheless), just need to do the text. Well be seeing how well I can do typing left handed between now and when I update.
