PSI crossover?

Back in 2008, http://www.drunkduck.com/Magical_Misfit ... p?p=448254 has Lana getting a belt.

Two years later, in http://psiwebcomic.com/comics/358 we see Nemi spotting this belt.

Was this a two-years-in-the-planning crossover plot twist?

It was a planned crossover that took 2 years because of my (burn-out and good excuse) Hiatuses

EDIT: I should say the the only completely unplanned crossover with PSI has been The Crossover Wars as a whole.
