Double Clutcher
A few nights ago I was on watch as supervisor here in Valdez. My watchstander left early due to the flu so my boss had to sit in. Around two in the morning I started having chest pains. I've had them before they are stress induced and I ignored them as much as possible. Toward watch relief in the morning I felt better even though this had been a bit longer in duration then I've had in the past. I went home went to bed and slept a solid seven hours. When I woke up I didn't give the "anxiety attack" Another thought. After all I don't have them often and I know what they are. Well I had another watch scheduled that night and I was banging around the house. I heard the trash truck and I ran down to the curb with the cans because naturally we had forgotten to put them out. I then helped the trash guy throw the bags into the back of the truck. Well my "Anxiety attack" came back with a vengeance! I went to the ER and they kept me over night wired up to some machines. It was a stress event and thankfully not my heart but my bosses decided that I need to take it a little easier so they have temporarily taken me off the watch bill and have me working days. I don't like it. and it screwed up my schedule. Well I am going to have to back up a bit for the next couple of weeks and you may see some pencil art along with missed updates. It's safe writing this here since only three people read this anyway.Anyway Sorry in advance.

Well, those three people, or however many we are, DO worry about you!!
Take your time, relax and get your anxious/stress level down to a tolerable level, THEN you can come back with a vengeance.
I'll rather have missed updates, B&W and pencil as well as minor hiatus' than an abrupt and complete ending to the series!!

Re: Double Clutcher
In one of those strange but true event. The boss I stood watch with when I had my stress attack had chest pains during a night watch same as I did. Two nights in a row just like I did. Only difference is that he did have a heart attack! He had a 90% blockage in an artery. He's ok thank God but he gave us a scare. He has to quit smoking. He is heart broken( litterally). We have to convince him that it is possible to think and talk without a smoke in your hand. He is quite convinced that it can not be done. Needless to say our Thanksgiving watch scedule went out the window and I picked up a watch on the Holiday. Hope everyone enjoys their holiday and draws lot of comics.
