Word Bubbles for Sox

Sox is the Star ship Terran Scout /Wayward Wings. Sox has an autonomus body she uses when she is away from the ship. The ship is in fact her true body. She got the serpent body after her voyage with Sandy and Tiller Ironkeel. She was never ment to have it but it was an emergency repair to keep Sox's mind from loseing sanity. (Something that Sandy Ironkeel Doesn't think Sox had to begin with). When Sox is in ship mode underway the serpent body is stowed and Sox speaks to the crew through holograms or as a diembodied voice. I have been wondering if I should prehaps give Sox a distinctive colored word bubble and font alla Baby. I wonder if that will make it clearer that Dark Eyes is speaking to to the ship. Or that the ship is speaking to her. There are a bunch of external shots coming up soon and I wonder if having Sox have a special font and Bubble color would help reduce confusion.

that would probably help, maybe a color picked from her and lightened, thats what I do for my thought balloons to make it clear on who is thinking what

Using a colored wordbubble and/or unique font for Sox's voice, whether it coming dicrectly from the ship or bodily from her serpentine form would be a nice touch, that way you always know and recognize the "person" in speaking

... like the Head Alien from It's Walky! Always speak with Orange wordboubles, you always know its the little purple maniac speaking, even though he may be off screen

cute idea, just pick a font people can read. made that mistake with "sanitarium" from blambot

so what'cha think? does that help or hinder. I want Sox to remain slightly insane. Can I pull it off with the maine frame font?
