Oh, great... another one of those comic ideas...

For some reason, I refuse to let the Trunk idea die. In Magiversity canon, KAM is going to end up running an inn with his 3 Valkyries there. However, as for the trunk's fate...

A young Magiversity mage finds the trunk while taking inventory in the dangerous Artifacts room. She opens the trunk out of curiousity and ends up locked inside as it vanishes... She ends up trapped in various webcomics/universes, having short adventures in them before the Trunk somehow brings her back and it vanishes again. Some weird elements of the story...

1. No matter where the trunk ends up, it doesn't change form or anything and it will always look like what it is. However, none of the natives in the webcomic world it ends up in will even take notice of it.

2. They will take notice of the young mage who comes out, saying how strange she looks, etc...

3. Thanks to her powers and the Trunk's properties, she's always linked to the Trunk and at the end of her adventures she's always teleported back inside and it vanishes... only to end up in a new webcomic universe.

4. (Maybe.. maybe not...)There's a chainmail clad warrior who can travel dimensions that's following her around, intent on trying to kill her because she's doing things to the fabric of reality that he doesn't like (and causing him to become overloaded with work)...

Basically the Trunk and the young mage inside would become the webcomic version/parody of Dr. Who. The Trunk is somehow sentient and is using the mage to fix up problems with the fabric of SpaceTime, etc... And no... she will NOT have a companion who travels with her. That's about all I can think of with this idea. It's still up in the air for me because if I do too many comics, I'll burn out again. >_<

What do you all think so far?

Oh no, not being followed by "Hogan", the "master" of the database, is she?

Is she specializing in medical magic?

Does she have a magic casting focusing device, used to project her spells? Said device might be a small, hand-held pointing device that makes noise, to help her focus...

KAM is no longer trapped in the Trunk thanks to Miss Katrinity finding it and using her magic on it (how powerful I 'm not going to say... except that it's gotta be a lot since she's the HEADMISTRESS of the place).

She's also a Generalist Mage, so she can cast pretty much any "arcane" type spell. She can't learn healing magic, but she can learn to make medicines and such during her adventures. As for Hogan... don't know yet. :)

No healing magic? So she's not a doctor ... darn.
No sonic wand for her magic? Double darn.
No "master" enemy? Triple darn :-).

No "wands", definitly. Staves on the other hand...

I could create an evil entity who wants the Trunk for his own purposes, but can't as he has to kill its current "owner". Better yet, this guy may be the one causing all those problems with spacetime, altering the other webcomic universes for his own purposes.

Maybe she'll have an ""Egg of Vibration"?

It's because you have such good taste!

My nephew found an inventive use for the trunk. He RPs online* & a few months back had his character Roz use the trunk as a weapon & hit a guy, I went flying out, then ran back & jumped into the trunk.

* He's trying to get an artist friend of his to draw them up as a comic, but I don't think it's got past the concept pages yet.

This sounds like it will be a fun read.

No master enemy

You know maybe there is another box or maybe the original makers aren't happy, but if there was a lot of cameos I suspect it would draw in an axe wielding cameo character.

Hogan cameos himself but is angry at other people for cameoing. :?
How does that work or am I missing something? Someone should point this out in a comic.
I think therefor I am.
