Someone, I think it was Wheels, pointed out that it might be a bad idea to arrange a set of character or art swaps like that, because historically those things tend to fall apart at the last minute. I forget exactly what his suggestion was, but I think it involved coming up with a shared script that...

I still say the haunted castle is the best possible idea. It's very easy for anyone to write a creepy/haunted castle into their strip around Halloween, it's a classic Halloween setting, and it's also an excellent location for the inevitable after-show party. Down the years, I'm pretty sure a bunch o...

Oh, hey, this one almost slipped through my net (and for that matter, might not really count), but here's a thought-cameo of Dark Eyes:

Another one coming up on Saturday.

(it's good to be back)

Don't pick on the poor guy, Wheels...

Actually, I was wondering; does anybody know of anything like this having happened before (characters from two different webcomics having a baby together)?

Well, Wheels only just finished repainting Shelterville. It's not like we haven't blown settings up before... (Dahk-Tuin is still in pieces. Plus, my characters are currently on trial for blowing up the last mall they were in).

Explosions are not a problem...

I can just imagine Scale's reaction on discovering that her daddy's a psychopathic barbarian who also happens to have orchestrated her entire existence... It was nice knowing ya, Hogan! ^_--

I'll take the Zombies over the snow, thanks. Too much temptation to do completely whited-out pages set 'in a snow-storm' :P

Oh, God, I can't think of the Earth's core without thinking of that dreadful movie... (not that I ever saw it, mind, but the mere concept of a journey to the Earth's core protected by anything less than all the power of the archmages and angels fills me with rage...)

Don't worry, I wasn't being entirely serious. I realise how hard some of you worked to get CW1 finished.

Intriguing plot... if enough people come on board, I'd be game, although the template would have to be fairly carefully chosen.

Hogan would indeed be a funny Fred.... *flees* *returns* Wheels, while your idea is interesting, I'd like to reiterate my concern about keeping this accessible to comics that don't want to invest too heavily in the fantasy malarkey (okay, I realise that the zombies would detract from any realism a l...

That's certainly the best option on display imo; the good thing about a shopping mall (even one with zombies) is that it can be inserted into comics with no fantasy elements. I think last year the fact that our location wasn't just in space but also in the future was a put-off to a bunch of people. ...
